How data is handled in the IRON HOWL app and when you contact support.

Data stored on your device
Workouts, benchmarks, body weight, profile, plans, drafts, favorites, and preferences are stored in the app’s local storage.
The current app has no developer-operated account system, app-managed cloud sync, advertising, behavioral analytics, or workout uploads to a developer server. Device backups follow your operating system settings.
PRO purchases and the free Trial
PRO purchases and the free Trial are verified with Apple StoreKit. A supplemental Trial checkpoint is stored in the device Keychain to reduce resets and clock rollback. It may remain after app removal and is not included in workout exports.
Apple handles purchase and Apple Account information under its own terms and privacy policies. Restoring purchases restores access, not deleted workout records.
Photos and sharing
Only photos you select are used as share-image backgrounds. Saving a generated image to Photos requests permission to add it to your photo library.
You choose export and share destinations. The selected apps or services handle shared files under their own policies. Links to official instructions also open external websites.
Backups and deleting records
Backups may contain record dates, body weight, and notes. Choose where to save them and review their contents before sharing. Photos are excluded from app backups.
History and benchmark records can be deleted from their app screens. Removing the app may remove local records; back up records you need first. Exported files and shared images must be managed separately.
Information sent to support
When you email support, we receive information such as your email address, message, and attachments. We review what you send to reply and investigate the issue.
Do not send unnecessary personal information, your Apple Account password, full receipts, or personal workout records. For questions about retention or deletion of information sent to support, contact the support email above.
Access to this website
These support and privacy pages are served through Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect the pages, Cloudflare may process access information, including IP addresses and technical information about requests.
Website access information is separate from training records stored locally in the app. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for information about its handling of this data.
